IRIEVIBESRADIODETROIT.COM is the "brainchild" and creation of Pamela Welsh. Pamela has teamed up with a partner, and other friends, to create a well needed station that focuses on Caribbean music. Pamela has over 20 years of experience in Reggae music promotions, and holds a great love for the the music and its artists, along with the love of island life and culture. She also comes to the table with experience in broadcasting, serving as co-host to OC Roberts, on the award winning radio program "The Reggae Soundblast" on WDTR radio in Detroit. The station was sold back in 2005, and since, there has been very few outlets for radio with Caribbean music in the Southeastern Michigan area. Pamela felt the need to reach listeners, and provide them with something to soothe their souls, and enjoy. Along with being a Special Ed. teacher, a mother and wife,  she dedicates her time and energy to sending positive vibes through the music, and great programming to the masses of people all over the world. You can catch her on Saturdays at 2pm for "What's Up", and on Sundays for "Inspirations" at 10am.

Jorie Wyatt is a master of publicity and community relations. Working in charge of Community Relations for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, she has proven to be a strong corporate woman. She is socially active, serving on many committees and boards around Detroit and Michigan.  Along with the rest of the team,  she also possesses a strong  love of Caribbean music, the culture, and the beauty of the islands.  Along with being a busy corporate representative, she is also a mother of two.

Barbara Bowlin resides in Reno, Nevada and has a second home in Jamaica. She shares the talent of  possessing strong public relations skills, and efficiently spreads the word, and handles correspondence for the station. As an irreplaceable member of the IRIEVIBESRADIODETROIT.COM team, she also holds great love for the music and culture of the islands. She is a wonderful wife and mother.

"Roots Rock Sound" comes to IRIEVIBESRADIODETROIT.COM with tons of versatality. The team contains members from different areas of the Caribbean. The members of Roots Rock are Jello, Mikey Genius, and B Plus.They all hail from different areas in Jamaica. They showcase the latest music in Reggae, Dancehall, and Soca. They are involved in community events, and have performed with many of the major artists in the past. Along with providing music, they all work in different fields. Jello is a Robotics Engineer, Mikey Genius is an Accountant, and B Plus is a Soccer Coach. They have big plans for building the station, and continue to play good music, and spread positive, uplifting vibes to the listeners. On Fridays, catch them at 8pm for "Fire Fridays" on IRIEVIBESRADIODETROIT.COM
 
Representing the Latin Caribbean audience, is "The Latin Image Entertainment Group". George Guzman is a Detroit Mexicano and DJ Los is a Detroit Puerto Rican. Both have  extensive experience in the Latin music and club scene. George(aka DJXS) and DJ Los have held down several venues over the years, providing the best in Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Bachata. Their love for their culture and the music, has brought together "The Latin Image" which broadcasts on Sundays from 4-6pm.

Even though the station is based in Detroit, it's focus is global. The station launched in August, and has reached many people in many countries since. Our mission is driven by the teams' love of the music and Caribbean culture. We are dedicated to spreading "Irie" vibes throughout the world through great music, and fantastic programming.
